On his Golden Retriever

I had my dog, Jug, and that was very happy. He was a nice dog; I liked him. He was a gorgeous Golden Retriever. His name was Jug, "Justice Under God," because, while I was a prefect of a Cranwell School dormitory with eight kids, we were sitting around and we were asking, "Well, what will we call the dog?" He said, "Why don't you call him Jug? That would be nice." I said, "OK, let's call him Jug." This was great for the students, because those kids were sent one afternoon to jug, to clean up the snow and brush it aside. Instead of going to discipline, they went to the dog, and said, "Hi, Jug!" So they went to Jug! But that did not last long!
